THAAD Skills Trainer

On this project, we use Unreal Engine 4 to simulate working on the THAAD system. I was brought on to design, prototype and implement a new interaction system dedicated to making it easier for soldiers to understand how to undertake complex procedures. Specific information may be available upon request.

What I worked on

  • Using modern UX principles, I wire-framed, prototyped, and implemented a new interaction system.

    • Fully owned new contextual interaction system development from start to finish, including wire-framing, pitching to supervisors, gaining design alignment with other developers, and scripting the new system in blueprint to work with the old interaction system.

  • Scripted modular IK animation system for skeletal meshes to specifically make it easier for other designers to create new animations and interactions.

  • Used SQLite queries to help build spreadsheets to keep track of new/updated interactions
